Remove CapCut watermark

On the free plan, CapCut’s watermark is usually the CapCut end screen tacked onto the end of your export, sometimes with a logo in a corner too. Trim off the ending, box any logo, and render.

How to remove the CapCut watermark

  1. 1Open your CapCut export.
  2. 2Scrub to the end and set the trim end before the CapCut card starts. Add a box if a logo shows during the clip.
  3. 3Render and download.

Remove it inside CapCut first

The cleanest fix is in CapCut itself: in the project timeline, scroll to the end, tap the CapCut ending clip and delete it before exporting. Templates marked “Pro” and some effects add a watermark you can only drop by removing that element or upgrading. Use this tool when the project is gone and all you have is the exported file.

How trimming works here

The renderer plays your video from the trim start to the trim end and records only that span, with the original audio, so the end card simply isn’t in the new file. Boxes still work alongside trimming for logos that appear during the clip.

Questions

How do I remove the CapCut watermark without paying?

Delete the ending clip in CapCut before exporting. If you only have the export, open it here, set the trim end before the CapCut card, and render.

Will it reduce quality?

The video is re-encoded in your browser at a high bitrate, at up to 1080p. Very high-bitrate 4K exports are scaled to 1080p.

Does this work for CapCut templates?

If the template places a logo during the clip, add a box over it and choose fill or blur. If it is only the end card, trimming is enough.
