Getting a believable result
- Background people (small, over pavement or sky) usually vanish cleanly with the free eraser.
- Large foreground people hide a lot of scene. Use AI fill and, if needed, do it in two halves.
- Groups: remove one person at a time so the fill has clean surroundings to learn from.
- Check for leftovers such as feet, shadows, reflections in windows and bag straps.
Be kind with it
Removing strangers from your holiday photos is fine. Editing people out of news or documentary images to change what happened is not. Label heavily edited images as edited when it matters.
